Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban will undergo surgery today after picking up an injury in training on Wednesday. 

The red-hot striker suffered the injury set back in training following a challenge by Fernandes.

"Our team's training this evening, left foot injury suffered by Caleb Ekuban will be sent for examination, taking X-ray and tomography  to be evaluated by the health board. Caleb Ekuban is deemed necessary to undergo surgery," the club stated on it's website.

The 25 year old is expected to be out between four to six weeks of action. He will miss the games against Gençlerbirliği, Getafe in the Europa League, Sivasspor and Besiktas.

Ekuban has been a key player for Tranzonspor since joining from English Championship side Leeds United.
