Ghana forward Patrick Twumasi has won Astana fans' Premier League Player of the season award.

He piped vice-captain Dmitry Shomko and top scorer Janior Kabananga after amassing 54% out of over 5,000 votes cast.

Dmitry Shomko grabbed second position with 19% while congolese international Junior Kabananga managed to poll 10%.

Ivan Mayevsky and Serikzhan Muzhikov managed 4.6% and 3.4% to complete the top five.

Patrick Twumasi enjoyed a stellar year with Astana scoring 22 times and providing seven assists to help his team clinch the Kazakh Premier League crown for the fourth time in a row.
