Over 25 million visitors are expected to visit the World Expo 2020, known as the festival of innovators.

At the World Expo 2020, nations showcase their innovative prowess and display the opportunities that exist in their economy.

Ghana has been allocated a 200-metre-square pavilion for the expo.

Chief Executive of the Ghana Investment Promotions Centre (GIPC), Yofi Grant, has told Joy Business that Ghana’s pavilion when the expo opens in October 2020 will target investors.

The six-month event is on the theme "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future," and is aimed at bringing together participants and visitors for the exchange of knowledge and experiences to help in resolving societal challenges.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkora, has called on the private sector to embrace the new reforms being led by the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to him, using technology to bring about reforms is the best way to open up the Ghanaian business market and allow the private sector to expand and do business seamlessly.
