The Ghana Football Association(GFA) will send scouts to watch 2022  World Cup group opponents Korea Republic play three friendly matches against South American opponents.

Korea Republic will play against Brazil, Chile and Paraguay, in friendly matches as announced by the  Asian country's soccer federation on Wednesday.

The South Korean team, captained by Tottenham player Son Heung Min, will face Brazil on June 2 in Seoul, before facing Chile and Paraguay on June 6 and 10.

Ghana will have eyes there monitoring their opponents who they will play in their second match in the group stages of the 2022 FIFA World  Cup in Qatar.

This series of friendlies with South American teams will give South Korea a "good opportunity to assess its strengths and weaknesses," the federation said in a statement.

South Korea is ranked 29th in the FIFA rankings and is participating in its 10th World Cup in a row after finishing second behind Iran in Group A in the final round of Asian qualifying.

The South Korean team will play Portugal, Uruguay and Ghana in Group H at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which starts in November.
