Ghana U-20 forward Richard Danso has expressed his delight after scoring a brace as Ghana came from behind to defeat Benin 3-1 in the Africa Youth Championship qualifier in Cape Coast on Saturday.

Captain Issahaku Kondu scored the other goal to make have good hopes of progressing after the visitors stunned the home side with their opener in the first-half.

“I am very happy to have scored against Benin,” Danso told FootballMadeInGhana.com

“We conceded in the first half and things were not going on well for us," he added.

“But thankfully the ball came to me at the right time to score and I scored twice.”

Ghana will travel to Cotonou next week for the second-leg to decide which side will advance to the next round of the qualifiers.
