Ghanaian defender Joseph Baffo is not closing the door on a potential return to his former side IFK Värnamo.

The unattached 25 year is currently training with the Swedish outfit after leaving German side Eintracht Braunschweig this summer.

"For my part, it's only nice to play football again, so I played my last match on October 25 last year. I take day by day. I'm completely recovered from my injuries. Now it's just driving and it feels good to be here. I appreciate that”

"I do not close any doors, first of all I just want to play soccer. We'll see what tomorrow has to offer, "said 25-year-old Värnamo News.

Baffo suffered a cruciate ligament rupture only last October, and his contract with Eintracht Braunschweig expired at the end of last season.

The  center-back and U-21 European champion with Sweden came to Braunschweig in 2015, he has played 53 games in the lower division scoring three goals and an assist.
