Ghanaian defender Daniel Opare has officially retired from professional football at the age of 35, closing the chapter on a career that spanned continents, top leagues, and international duty with the Black Stars.

Opare announced his decision in a heartfelt Instagram post, expressing gratitude to God, his family, friends, and the clubs he represented:

“OFFICIALLY RETIRED!! A great day to celebrate, I couldn’t be more happier for what the LORD has done for me throughout these years… I wore every jersey with pride, respect and no regrets.”
