Ghana’s Female U-20 football team, the Black Princesses will travel to  Spain on Wednesday to continue preparations and serious rehearsals ahead of their France U-20 FIFA World cup participation in August.

Speaking to the media after beating Army Ladies at the Prampram Soccer School of Excellence, coach Yusif Basigi was confident his side will be in great form before the tournament’s kick off.

“I wasn’t particular about the score line. I was looking at the performance of the players and checking for the team tactics and how efficient it is,” Basigi said.

“We still have rough edges to sharpen. By Wednesday before we leave for Spain, we will correct most of them and continue the preparation at our training tour,” he added.

The Black Princess have been drawn in group A along with hosts France, as well as New Zealand and the Netherlands.

Ghana will start the tournament against France on August 5, 2018.
