Ghanaian attacking sensation Solomon Asante was the biggest winner at the annual end of season awards of the United Soccer League (USL) on Thursday night.

The Phoenix Rising FC capped off a seller season in the United State second tier league with four individual awards at a glamorous ceremony.

Asante, who emerged top of the USL scorers chart was presented with the Golden boot award as well as the Most Valuable Player Award.

He was also voted the Players Player Of The Year while his stunning half volley from I side his own half  was adjudged the goal of the season.

Solomon Asante, who has previously had successful stints with Berekum Chelsea and TP Mazembe joined Phoenix Rising two years ago and has been their stand out performer from day one.

However, the just ended USL season will go down as his most successful as a professional footballer after smashing every single available record in his sight with great
displays on weekly basis.

His impressive displays helped Phoenix to a record 19 straight wins which saw them sitting comfortably at the summit of the USL log.

Asante also topped both the goals and assists chart with a combined contribution to 35 goals.
