Ghanaian defender Gideon Baah has been appointed as  a player  coach for lower tier American club FC Morristown.

The former Asante Kotoko left back will be a player /coach of the semi professional league side on a one year contract.

Baah, 30, will play for the lower tier American side whiles also coaching as he bids to complete his coaching badges.

The former HJL Helsinki defender is currently taking his coaching badges and is expected to finish with it by the end of the year.

Gideon Baah who came to prominence on the local scene through Sports reality show MTN Soccer Academy has in the past played for Asante Kotoko, HJK in Finland and New York Red Bulls.

He has been capped once by Ghana in an exhibition match against Canada in 2015.
