GITAC President to receive international award on health advocacy

The President of Ghana Indian Trade Advisory Chamber (GITAC)Dominic Oduro Antwi has been nominated for an award on health advocacy dubbed “Health Advocate of the Year” on behalf of Ghana  by the Global community Oscars in the U S A Chicagoland .

The global community Oscars 2019 annual international awards Gala, is set to come on Sunday November 10  2019  evening at the annual international award Gala at the Meadows convention 2950 w Chicagoland golf road in a formal ceremony.

The 2019 edition of this award scheme is the largest multi ethic festival in Chicagoland U S A organized by American multi ethnic coalition incorporation.

According to sources, Dominic Oduro Antwi has duly contributed immensely to the growth of the health sector in Ghana especially being the first ever in the history of Ghana to launch a health directory detailing all information on hospitals, clinics, and pharmaceutical industry in Ghana in 2007.

He was also the first person to work on maternal healthcare empowerment in the country since 2011, adding up with various research works and recommendations to promote quality health care in Ghana

The award ceremony will be attended by people across the globe especially from 24 different ethnic communities and groups in Chicago, including African Americans, Mexicans, Latin, Americans, Irish, Germans, French, Greek, Ukrainians Russian, Philippines, Scandinavia ,Nigerians ,Indians Vietnamese, Chinese, Ghanaians, Sri Lankans, Pakistani, middle East , Koreans, Japanese, Bangladeshi, and others including over 1000 individuals from various industries and sectors.
