Go to all filling stations in my name for Free Fuel – Asiedu Nketia
1st October 2018
Christmas is likely to come early for car owners across the country despite the increase of fuel price in recent times.
NDC’s Asiedu Nketia has urged both private and commercial drivers to visit any filling station purported to be owned by him for free fuel as their Christmas gift.
The NDC’s Chief Scribe made the offer out of frustration after claiming he is “sick and tired” of allegations that he owns quite a number of filling stations across the country.
He was emphatic that “I don’t own filling station anywhere” – Adding that, “If they claim those filling stations are for me, go there for free fuel in my name”.
Asiedu Nketia who was speaking in an exclusive interview on Neat FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ wonders why people will link him to numerous of filling stations across the country.
He stated that, “I am into block factory not fuel. I have block factories, that is my work and I won’t deny that but not fuel stations.”
“People want to create the impression that I am rich out of politics. I am not rich,” he added.
Corruption allegations
Asked by sit-in host, Mc-Jerry Osei Agyeman whether he’s corrupt – General Mosquito as he is affectionately called in politics, was quick to say “No, I am not corrupt”.
“I try as much as possible not to do wrong things. I won’t intentionally do wrong,” he said.
