President John Mahama is confident of a landslide victory in the December 7 general elections.

According to him, he has sacrificed and done his best to ensured an accelerated development for the country.

According to him, 'even God can testify to my good works'.
President Mahama made the comment while addressing party supporters at Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo region Friday.

He wondered why only the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) see crisis with his government's management of the economy, when it has been endorsed as prudent by the international community.

The President indicated that the facts on the ground do not support NPP’s propaganda-driven narrative.

This notwithstanding, he said his government remains focused to change lives and transform Ghana.

“I don’t fear anything because I know God is on our side. All power belongs to God and he will give to the one he wants. I know the NDC will win the elections,” he added.

President Mahama stressed his promise to break the cycle of government over-expenditure during election year vowing to maintain fiscal discipline by spending within budget.
