NPP policy advisor Ken Ofori-Atta has said God has anointed the party to win this year’s election.

He said even though the party does not have the needed financial muscle to run the campaign, they are on course to clinch victory in the upcoming polls.

"...If it is a broke party then, it means the Lord's hand is in it and we doing extremely well"

"I think there is a fourth component that is whether the Lord is anointing this thing or not," the co-founder of investment Bank Databank told Accra-based Joy FM Monday.

He outlined money, machinery and message as the main forces that drive any successful campaign. According to him, the scores of supporters that graced the party’s manifesto launch at the Trade Fair centre is indication of their readiness for power come December.

The NPP flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo and President John Mahama of the NDC are the frontrunners in the upcoming polls.
