There is a change of heart and mind as coach of Premier League promotion chasers Bibiani  Gold Stars, Kobina Amissah who earlier in the day resigned has now decided to stay with the club.

Amissah who is on the brink of guiding the club to the elite division tendered in his resignation letter in the morning and even announced on Kumasi based Wontumi FM live during their sports show that he had left the club.

On Tuesday 11th May,2021 it was abundantly clear that the experienced gaffer who has guided the likes of Elmina Sharks, Berekum Chelsea to the elite division was on his way out.

But the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the club Mr Kwasi Adu has shot down the resignation claims by the coach saying he is still their coach and nothing has changed.

“It’s not true our coach has resigned. He is currently training with the team for the next games ahead. His comments was a slip of tongue and there is nothing like resignation,”he told Takoradi based Connect FM.

The Bibiani based side are currently top of Division One League Zone II after 24 matches with 47 points 8 points adrift second place Skyy FC.
