Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito says he’s satisfied with a point on the road, despite his side’s inability to convert chances in a goalless draw against Vision FC on Wednesday in an outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture.

The match, played at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema, was a tightly contested affair with both sides struggling to find the breakthrough. Kotoko dominated possession and carved out several scoring opportunities, but a lack of composure in front of goal proved costly.

“We were very wasteful in front of goal,” Zito admitted post-match. “We created chances and should have scored at all cost, but we weren’t focused. Still, I’m content picking a point away.”

The result leaves Kotoko in 7th place with 15 points from seven matches, while Vision FC sit 10th with 12 points from nine games. The Porcupine Warriors remain unbeaten in their last seven league outings and have two games in hand — a buffer that could prove crucial in the title race.

Kotoko now turn their attention to a high-stakes clash against league leaders Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday. Victory would not only extend their unbeaten run but also inject fresh momentum into their Premier League title ambitions.
