Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies FC has written an open letter to their fans explaining their reason behind the recent transfers of several of their top players.

The Accra based have transferred six(6) of their first team players including their prolific attacking duo of Victorien Adebayor and Samuel Armah in the ongoing transfer window.

The massive player exodus has been a source of worry to the supporters of the club with the Ghanaian topflight set to kick off next month.

But in a letter published on the club’s website and signed by the Vice President Delali Senaye, Inter Allies explained the reasons behind their decisions to transfer the players and assured fans of recruiting capable replacements for those players.

The club further singled out the representative of Nigerien forward Adebayor for special praise for what the club describe as “great sportsmanship and professionalism”.

Below is the full club statement;

Inter Allies FC wish to inform our cherished fans that we have successfully transferred/Loan the following players:

NSUNGUSI JNR EFFIONG – HB KOGE (DENMARK)

ABDUL NASSIRU HAMZAH – HOLBAEK BI (DENMARK)

FRANK ASSINKI – HB KOGE (DENMARK)

VICTORIEN ADEBAYOR – HB KOGE (DENMARK)

SAMUEL ARMAH – KF SKENDERBEU KORCE (ALBANIA)

ABRAHAM OKYERE – AL HILAL UNITED FC UAEFA, (UNITED ARAB EMIRATES)

The decision though a difficult one, was taken in furtherance of the mission and philosophy of the Club which is to provide a resplendent career path for budding football talents in Ghana and our neighbouring countries.

Some of the players had few months to the expiration of their contracts, hence the reason for finding suitable placements for them in Europe.

We express our profound gratitude to the intermediary of Victorien Adebayor, Mr. Samuel Joel-Atolagbe for his great sportsmanship and professionalism exhibited towards the Club in the last few months. Inter Allies FC will forever be grateful.

Inter Allies FC want to assure all our fans that the Management and the Technical Team are working tirelessly on replacements to maintain our standard set in the Premier League since gaining promotion in 2013 as quality talented players are being recruited across the Country and West Africa to beef up the squad for 2020/2021 Premier League Season.

Thank you,

Delali Senaye

Vice President.
