The Ghana Premier League title race took another dramatic twist on Matchday 24 as Bibiani GoldStars SC boosted their championship ambitions with a crucial 2-1 victory over Accra Hearts of Oak.

‎The win at Dun’s Park moved GoldStars to within a single point of league leaders Medeama SC, who were held to a goalless draw by Swedru All Blacks FC. Medeama remain top of the table on 46 points, but their advantage has been cut significantly with the season entering a decisive stretch.

‎For Hearts of Oak, defeat proved costly. The Phobians now sit third, six points adrift of the summit and five behind GoldStars, leaving their title hopes under increasing pressure.

‎Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko SC also dropped valuable points after being held 0-0 by Vision FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Kotoko remain fourth on 39 points, one behind Hearts, and will blame missed opportunities as the race intensifies.

‎Elsewhere, there were narrow wins for Dreams FC, Basake Holy Stars FC and Hohoe United FC, while Berekum Chelsea FC shared the spoils with Young Apostles FC. Bechem United FC and Karela United FC also played out a stalemate.

‎With just a handful of matches remaining, the gap between the leading contenders continues to narrow. Medeama still hold the advantage, but GoldStars’ momentum and the inconsistency of their closest rivals suggest the battle for the 2025–26 crown is far from settled.
