The Ghana Telecom University bill will be laid before parliament in the first quarter of 2019 to ensure the autonomy of the institution, Minister of Communication Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has said.

Mrs Owusu-Ekuful was speaking to Accra-based Citi FM after the swearing in ceremony of an interim government council for the GTUC on Friday, 16 November 2018 in Accra.

The minister said: “I'm working with the Minister of Education, once we complete that process the bill is going to go through parliament hopefully early next year.
