Striker Salaasi Bakai came off the bench to inspire a Hearts of Oak victory over a lacklustre Medeama side in a high-profile friendly to climax the Amankuma festival.
A penalty converted by Joseph Esso in the 38th minute gave the phobians the lead their lightening merited, and went ruthless to increase the lead through Bakai in the 75th minute.
Medeama pulled one back through midfielder Justice Blay but their hope for equaliser was short-lived as Salaasi grabbed his personal second and the phobian's third in the 88th minute.
Coach Kim Grants' men made their intense known at the blast of the referees whistle pushing their opponent to commit more mistakes.

Sunday's encounter also served as a means to keeping players of both teams fit as they wait the return of official football action.
