Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Daniel Kodie has on Tueday 11th May 2021, departed Ghana to South African for surgery.

The former Liberty Professionals midfielder has been out of action for more than a year and was supposed to embark on the trip with crocked teammate Mamane Lawali but the Nigerien decided not to travel for the operation.

The two players have been out of action for a long time with various injuries sustained .

Daniel Kodie has been in a very difficult situation as he has been out injured for over a year now.

The pair who got injured at the start of the current league campaign were to go to South Africa to have corrective surgeries.

Daniel Kodie will first meet with an expert on May 13 for an evaluation before undergoing the operation.

The player was accompanied on the trip by board member of the club Alhaji Braimah Akambi.
