Hearts of Oak legend Emmanuel Armah has challenged Black Stars coach Avram Grant to give Hearts of Oak tough-tackler Inusah Musah a call up to the national team.

The former Phobia defender has said that he sees himself in the young center back who won five man-of-the-match awards in the league which saw the Phobians finish third.

According to the legend, Inusah has done enough to deserve a call up to the senior national team and should be given the call up on merit insisting the defender's tough tackling style is just like he (Armah) was in his time.

"He is a tough tackler as I was in my days and undoubtedly has been one of the instrumental players for the Phobians this season,” Armah told Starr Sports.

The former Hearts stalwart defender revealed that he groomed Inusah after his injury and showed him how to man the defence and has not been disappointed by the lad.

"I groomed him after his injury [and] showed him how the defence is handled and he has proven he is ready to wear the national colours." he stated emphatically.

Inusah Musah has largely impressed this season with his no nonsense defence style winning the admiration of several football faithfuls with some calling for his inclusion in the Black Stars team even before Emmanuel Armah's call.
