Accra Hearts of Oak have touched down in the Central Regional  as they begin residential camping ahead of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak moved camp to Cape Coast on Wednesday to start a two week pre-season camping as they step up preparations.

The team will have two training sessions each day with the first one starting at 8 am and the second session also beginning at 4pm each day for the two week period.

Coach Edward Nii Odoom is expected to put the players through their paces for the first time on Thursday at 8am.

The team is currently domiciled at the Glow-Lamp Soccer Academy in Elmina as they bid to get the team in shape before facing Aduana Stars on match day one.

Ahead of the new season, coach Odoom has disclosed that his team are looking to win the elusive Ghana Premier League title.

Accra Hearts of Oak have lost key members of their playing squad in their attack with Kofi Kordzi joining Qatari side Mauthier SC while Joseph Esso has also departed the club on a free transfer.

The Phobians have already signed Eric Dizan, Ademola Kuti, Abdul Ramani Lawali, Nuru Sulley , Abednego Tetteh and Victor Kwaku Aidoo.

Hearts of Oak finished 9th before the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season was truncated by COVID-19 and will look to improve that with the addition of Portuguese tactitican Vaz Pinto as technical director.
