Accra Hearts of Oak could sanction Youth team Coach Sergio Traguil for a recent comment made in the media.

The Portuguese trainer in an interview with Viasat 1 last week claimed he was sabotaged by his technical crew which resulted in his failure to guide the Club to win the League title this season.

The former Kaduna United Coach was appointed as a stop-gap coach to replace Japanese Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

But after strings of bad results in the Ghana Premier League, the Coach was demoted to head the second team.

Speaking with Accra-based Kasapa FM, spokesperson of the Club Opare Addo says Traguil has breached the ethics of the Club by granting an interview without permission hence could be penalized for his actions.

“Hearts of Oak is a Club with structures put in place, it is a norm in the Club that apart from a board member or a management member no other member of the team must grant interviews without permission from the Club,” he said.

“We have requested for the interview, we will listen to the voice and then take the necessary action against him if we find out he actually said that.

“But in the first place he didn’t have any right to grant an interview without the knowledge of the Club.”

Hearts are still in search of a permanent Coach after the exit of Kenichi Yatsuhashi
