Smartphone maker Huawei will launch its upcoming P30 Pro smartphone in India shortly after its global unveiling at an event in Paris.
“The company is dedicated to the India market and it aims to narrow the gap in the timing of global launches of flagship devices with this phone,” an industry source told IANS on Friday.
The Huawei P30 Pro is expected to come with a 10x optical zoom, which would be a first on a smartphone. A major highlight of the device is expected be the quad-camera set-up at the rear.
It is rumoured to sport a 40-megapixel f/1.6 main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 20-megapixel f/2.2 wide-angle camera. For selifes, the smartphone is expected to house a 32-megapixel front camera which could also have 3D recognition. Up front, Huawei P30 could sport a 6.47-inch OLED display which would also double as a loudspeaker using vibration to produce sound.
