Barely 24hours after 1st runner-up of the maiden edition of TV3 music reality show Mentor, Andy Odarky, accused actor turned musician, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win of claiming ownership of a new titled ‘Ayeyi’, the latter has replied in a series of allegations against the former.

Odarky on August 14, 2018 released a press statement cautioning the CEO of Weezy Empire to stop promoting and claiming ownership of the song he wrote or face possible legal suit.

In an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM, the CEO of Fire House Music revealed Lil Win falsely claimed ownership of the song by uploading the track in his name and making him (Andy) the featured artiste but it is untrue.

According Andy Odarky, Weezy Empire label, led by Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win agreed to sign him on to the label on the premise that he (Andy Odarky) will team up with Lil Win on a new song.

“Lil Win can’t write songs… all songs he’s released were written by others. He told me he’ll sign me on to the Weezy Empire label then Boss Nation but he never fulfilled his promise. We both agreed that because he (Lil Win) can’t pen down the contract, I should do it so we both sign but I told him it is not done that way so let’s all sit down and do it together. Lil Win started avoiding me and wasn’t inviting me for shows. I was surprised when I saw the release of the song and video on other music platforms.” Odarky Andy said

After they both agreed and released the new song ‘Ayeyi’, the Weezy Empire boss shot a video and uploaded the video in his name, making Andy Odarky the featured artiste.

But reacting to the allegations of song theft, the Ghanaian actor, also on same radio station refuted the allegations leveled against him by Andy Odarky.

Lil Win denied ever agreeing with Andy Odarky on a possible signing on Weezy Empire label after the release of ‘Ayeyi’.

He claimed he has helped Andy, giving him the platform on almost every show he is billed to perform to also exhibit his talent but it always turns out as disgrace on his path as a respected actor and a musician.

The CEO of Weezy Empire shockingly revealed on radio, Andy Odarky was arrested in Kumasi for possessing Marijuana and had it not been for his intervention, paying an amount of Ghc1,500 to police officers as bribe to free the artiste, he (Andy Odarky) would have been jailed.

According to Nkansah, the song was written by him and as genuine brother who wants to support the career of his fellow artiste, he featured Andy of the Mentor 1 fame to help resurrect his dead music career using Weezy Empire label as a spring board.

“Andy only added the chorus to the song I have done and not the owner of the song. I saw Andy as someone who was struggling in the industry, so I offered to help by giving him same platforms I was billed to perform. I cut ties with Andy Odarky because of his wee smoking behaviour. He made me paid over 15million to police officers who arrested him for possessing wee. I’ve never signed or have a vision to sign the young artistes following me on to Weezy Empire” Lil Win to Zylofon
