Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, has desecrated the governing National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) claims of unprecedented infrastructural development.

Konadu Agyemang says the claims are nothing but ”lies.”

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Class FM, the presidential nominee of the National Democratic Party (NDP) said President Mahama is only lying to Ghanaians.

”I don’t see what the president is talking about because he is lying to us and we won’t accept it.”

Mrs Rawlings criticized Mahama for not doing anything better to lift Ghana’s sinking economy saying his administration is full of corruption and mismanagement.

”I saw them [government] commissioning a school in Derma. … The population in Derma is not more than 300 people [but] the school that has been put there can house over 5,000 people. Is that what you want your monies to be used for?” she questioned.

She also stated that the NDP will overturn the two-party domination in the upcoming polls.

”You go to some countries, there are say two or three parties that have entrenched themselves, then suddenly one comes and sees everybody off and they become the government,” stated Mrs Rawlings.
