Ghanaian international, Kevin Prince Boateng, who is beginning to rediscover himself, has admitted he made mistakes in the past and is now wiser than he was in Italy.

The former Portsmouth and AC Milan man is now with Spanish La Liga side Las Palmas and says he regrets some of the things he did in the past.

Boateng has been indefinitely suspended from the Black Stars after showing gross disrespect to management of the team during the World Cup in Brazil.

“I had to learn because there was nobody next to teach me how to do things,” Boateng said.

“I threw a lot of money and then learned that I had to save it because football is not for life.”

“It is complicated to manage that with 20 years. I arrived in London (Tottenham), entered me money every month and spent and spent and spent. I was alone.”

The 29-year-old will be watching from the stands as his team mates take on Real Madrid following his sending off against Real Sociedad.
