Former Hearts of Oak striker Kofi Kordzi says he had a good season at his Qatari side Mauthier SC but needs to improve.

He says it is always difficult to hit the ground running when one travels to a new country to play.

Kordzi joined lower tier Qatari side Mauthier SC in September 2020 after a stellar spell with Accra Hearts of Oak.

He has scored eight matches in 22 matches this campaign for the lower tier Qatari side

“I had a good season, but it wasn’t always smooth sailing. Sometimes we had a good day and sometimes we had a bad game but it is all part of football. But overall, for me personally, I had a great season” he told Footballmadeinghana.com.

“When you go to a new country, sometimes there is a struggle to hit the ground running but I managed to score some goals which is good. But I have to continue to work hard and improve”he added.
