Adam Larsen Kwarasey says he has not retired from the Black Stars and is still open to a call up from the handlers if he is fit.

According to the Valarenga goalie he is not too concerned about whether he will play or will be on the bench as long as its the best decision for the team.

The Norwegian born Ghanaian has not played for the Black Stars since the fall out from the 2014 FIFA World Cup where he kept post for our defeat against USA and was then replaced by Fatau Dauda for the remainder of the matches.

He disclosed in an interview with Citi FM's Fentuo Tahiru and says he is open and willing for a return.

"If I’m fit I will always do that. if I play or not doesn’t matter for me as long you make a decision that you think is best for the team. And of course, if I’m the one chosen to play, prepare me for the game so I can have the best possible preparations to have a good performance for our team," he said.

The Valarenga goalie made his debut for Ghana in 2011 despite playing for the Norway U-21 national team and went ahead to make 27 appearances including playing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
