Reverend Owusu Bempah who of recent made a prophecy of victory for Mahama's rival, Nana Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) said he was not protecting the flagbearer.
In an interview on Tuesday November 1 with Paul Adom Otchere on "Good Evening Ghana" the reverend was quoted saying " l am not protecting Nana Addo, am I God?"
Speaking in a local dialect, Twi, he said he is not as controversial as people think he is. He does not only pray for Nana Addo but Mahama as well only that he will not come out victorious.
"I prayed for Mahama. We fasted for him but he is not going to win the election."
"The election will not favour Mahama because in spirit, he has finished his work" he solidified
The man of God furthermore believed that Ghana has a better future with Nana Addo as the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces. The country will be in doom with Mahama should he prosper in the December 7 elections.
In a prayer, he asked for peace in the country and he prayed God touches the heart of the Electoral Commission (EC)boss, Charlotte Osei so that she will be fair in the December polls. BY: KANDEY H. ALHASSAN @ghanaguardian.com
