Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Krowor Constituency Dr. Bernard  Oko Boye has lamented the poor nature of the LEKMA road.

The MP in an interview with JOY NEWS hinted that he gets sleepless nights due to the deplorable nature of the LEKMA roads in his constituency.

“I met the chief of staff Mrs Frema and she tells me Dr. we know your road is important and we are giving serious attention to it the minister also tells me Dr. your road is on our radar.

What I see is that there are challenges that they are having and what you must do is to talk to the Roads Ministry about their challenges but for me when my people complain, I’m a physician and if my people vote me out because of this road I will not be surprised.” He lamented

For most of the week, the multimedia group has been domiciled in the constituency chronicling the effects and impart of the roads on the lives of residents in the area.

One man they spoke to says that he almost lost his life when he was attacked by a respiratory condition and had to be transported immediately to the LEKMA hospital on that deplorable road.

Drivers and motor users in the constituency have blamed the current government for stalling the road construction which was started under the previous regime.

Residents of Spintex, Batsonaa, Nungua, Teshie and Labadi will have to be more patient as the 7.5-kilometre Lekma road may not be constructed any time soon.
