Budding dancehall act Lexikon real named William Bramwell Koufie says he would rather rely solely on his God-given talent than to depend on well-known artistes for collaborations.

The promising musician expressed worry over colleague dancehall act, Samini’s reaction when the former humbly requested for a feature on his latest single.

My management contacted him through Brainy beatz but he told Brainy Beatz to  tell me to record my verse and send to him before he will consider featuring on the track, I have done things like this in the past and i feel is my time to be recognized“, he explained.

The Mfantsipim oldstudent dropped his first single early this year titled “Tear drop” and was followed by ” Shotta killer” which is doing well on the waves. Lexikon began his journey in music over a decade ago and even featured on A Plus’s first album.

He sees the dancehall genre as the biggest and every talented and hardworking artist can get his share of the cake. He mentioned the likes of Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy  and Jahlead as contributing their quota but noted that they are not threats to his desire to become the next big thing in GH.dancehall. Lexikon has assured his fans of conscious lyrics in any studio work he releases.
