Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Ayew has celebrated silverware in Gibraltar after helping Lincoln Red Imps FC win the Gibraltar League Cup with a dominant 5–0 victory over rivals Mons Calpe SC.
The emphatic win secured the trophy for Lincoln Red Imps and continued an impressive run of form for the club, who have now won six consecutive matches.
Ayew, 37, is the eldest son of Ghanaian football legend Abedi Pele and part of one of the country’s most celebrated football families. His younger brothers, Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew, have also enjoyed successful professional careers.
Lincoln Red Imps dominated the final from start to finish, producing a commanding display against Mons Calpe to lift the coveted trophy in style.
For Ibrahim Ayew, the triumph adds another chapter to a long football journey that has taken him across several leagues since emerging from the famous Ayew football dynasty in Ghana.
