Ghanaian winger Isaac Oppong was the standout performer for Moldovan club Spartanii Sportul, but despite his hat-trick in their 3-2 victory over FC Zimbru on Saturday, September 14, 2024, the 21-year-old says he is far from satisfied.

"Good win, but I'm not satisfied yet! Six goals in five matches is just the beginning. I'm working harder to play well, score more, and help my team win more matches," Oppong told the media after his exceptional performance.

Oppong’s hat-trick was crucial in sealing the win for Spartanii Sportul. He opened the scoring in the 26th minute and, after Zimbru equalized, he restored the lead in the 75th minute.

With the match tied at 2-2, Oppong completed his hat-trick five minutes from full-time, ensuring Spartanii Sportul walked away with all three points.

The former Asante Kotoko forward, who joined Spartanii Sportul on a free transfer this summer, has been in fine form in the Moldovan Superliga, netting six goals in his first five matches.

Despite his blistering start, Oppong is determined to keep improving and contributing to his team’s success.
