Ashgold forward Yaw Annor says that it is every Ghanaian player's dream to play for the senior national team the Black Stars.

The winger has been in good form for the miners in the Ghana Premier League in recent times scoring goals for fun.

The former Bechem United winger scored four goals against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League as the miners won 5-1 in the  match day 27 clash.

Ashgold's Yaw Annor is heavily breathing down the neck of Kotoko's Cameroonian striker Frank  Mbella.

The four goals he scored has now jumped him to 16 goals with just two goals shy of catching Kotoko's Frank Mbella who has 18 goals with seven matches to end the campaign.

According to the exciting winger he is ready to fulfill his dream of playing for the Black Stars whenever the opportunity arises.

In an interview on Kumasi-based Akoma FM, the ex- Fuenlabrada attacker said it has always been his dream to play for the Black Stars and has declared himself ready for a call up any moment from now.

"The dream of every player is to play for his national team. I am ready to play for the Black Stars now. I will not comment on those who think local players are not good enough for the Black Stars. When given the opportunity, I will prove those doubters wrong."

Yaw Annor also scored a hattrick earlier in the season when his side defeated WAFA 6-0 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
