Interim Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Nii Noi has distanced himself from the vacant Hearts of Oak coaching role despite his impressive performance.

The Hearts U-15 coach has done remarkably very well since taking over from Serbian trainer Kosta Papic who resigned some weeks ago.

In three matches in charge, Nii Noi won two of them against Ebusua Dwarfs by 3-2 and 1-0 against Liberty Professionals.

He will be in charge of the club in the interim until a substantive coach is appointed which will in the coming days be former Medeama trainer Samuel Boadu.

Speaking after the goalless drawn game against Kotoko, the young coach says he still a learner and not ready for the Hearts of Oak hotseat.

Asked if his performance is enough justification to land the job, he said, “Let me tell you, I’m learning”.

Hearts of Oak are expected to name promising young tactician Samuel Boadu as their new coach in the coming days.
