Impact Academy set to inspire over 40,000 Youth in Ashanti Region

The Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) has organized a stakeholders forum to discuss its Impact Academy under the auspices of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Ashanti Region.
This forum saw the participation of school counselors, headmasters of Senior High Schools (SHS), and head teachers and counselors of Junior High Schools (JHS) within the region.
The event aimed to strategize and emphasize the importance of the upcoming Impact Academy program.
Dubbed "Arise, Ready to Change Your World," the Impact Academy is a significant initiative of the GCK.
It seeks to engage youth in various schools within the Ashanti region and other parts of Ghana.
Scheduled to commence on Saturday, 27th July 2024, the academy is expected to host over 40,000 young individuals, with comprehensive arrangements made for their welfare.
Rev. Edward Kofi Tumsiah, the National Secretariat Coordinator of GCK and a living testimony of the Impact Academy program, shared insights into the initiative's objectives.
He stated, "The program seeks to separately minister to the young people in order to have a godly impact on them to shape the affairs of their country in a godly way."
He emphasized the program's holistic approach, which includes spiritual guidance and intellectual enrichment.
"Not only will there be ministering from men of God, but also people from intellectual communities will speak with them so that they will get the intellectual resources to help themselves," Reverend Tumsiah added.
Pastor Yaw Osei Owusu, the Ashanti Regional Committee Chairman for GCK and Deeper Life Regional Pastor, highlighted the multifaceted benefits of the Impact Academy.
He noted that the program aims to develop the youth academically, socially, physically, and spiritually. Pastor Owusu urged every youth to participate in the program, emphasizing its transformative potential.
"There is testimony and life-changing impact that comes with it," he said.
The GES has recognized the Impact Academy's mentorship potential and taken it seriously.
The program's comprehensive approach aligns with GES's educational and developmental goals for the youth.
The Impact Academy is an integral part of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, which will connect 152 countries worldwide.
The crusade is set to take place from Thursday, 25th July to Tuesday, 30th July 2024, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The event promises to be a landmark occasion, bringing together a diverse group of young people for a time of spiritual, intellectual, and personal growth.
