In Ghana, you can even receive money from dead relatives – Erastus Donkor pokes Cecilia Dapaah

A well-known reporter with the Multimedia Group, Erastus Asare Donkor, has responded to the Special Prosecutor's discovery that Cecilia Dapaah's dead brother's bank account is still sending her money.

You may recall that the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) informed the court that the bank account of Cecilia Dapaah's late brother, is still open.

According to a news article by myjoyonline.com, copies of paperwork the OSP submitted to the court showed that, despite being meant to be inactive, the claimed account had lately sent money to the former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources.

Erastus Donkor expressed his reaction to the news in a Facebook post and wondered why a deceased person's bank account would be doing business with a living relative.

Astounded by the OSP's announcement, the Luv FM's Asisting Editor described Ghana as a "miracle country."

"Wow!! Ghana is a miracle country!! You can even receive money from dead relatives," he remarked.

The OSP is currently investigating Mrs. Cecilia Dapaah for corruption-related offences after two of her housekeepers were accused of stealing more than $1 million, €300,000 in cash, and other expensive things from her home in Abelemkpe, Accra.
