Ghana and Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has arrived in Barcelona to undergo a routine check-up ahead of the new season.
Premium Sports have reported the 27-year-old will be assessed by one of the world's leading knee specialist Professor Ramon Cugat.
The specialist treated the Ghanaian after he suffered a career-threatening injury two years ago.
He is expected to observe the Ghanaian super star before given him the green light to play ahead of a busy schedule this season.
Asamoah has been involved in Juventus pre-season so far but will return to the squad after the check-up.
