Ghana’s Issah Abass solitary strike handed NK Olimpija Ljubljana an important win over Triglav in the Slovenian top-flight league on Sunday.

Abass scored on the stroke of half time against the run of play to give Ljubljana the lead.

It was the Ghanaian youngster’s 7th goal in the league this season.

Despite the wave of pressure by Triglav in the second half, Ljubljana held on to their goal advantage to take away maximum points.

Ljubljana are sitting top of the standings with 52 points, with a four points advantage over second-placed NK Maribor.
