Veteran Ghanaian trainer Stellas Tetteh has indicated that his 2009 world cup winning heroics will remain unmatched for many years to come.

Sellas Tetteh led Ghana's Under 20 to win gold in the 2009 FIFA Under 20 World cup in Egypt, a feat no other African country has ever achieved.

The Black satellite defeated Brazil 4-3 on penalties in Cairo, Egypt to lift the coveted trophy making Tetteh the first and only African coach to conquer the world at the U20 level.

And speaking on the victory ten years on, the Liberty Professionals technical director noted that it will be difficult for another coach to break his record as the only African coach to win the trophy.

"In life, everything is possible but it may take time to break this record", Sellas Tetteh told Bryt FM.

"It won't be easy because to even qualify from prelims does not come on a cheap. But everything has an end in this world", he added.

2009 will go down in history as Tetteh's best year in coaching having guided the U20 team to treble as they won the World Cup, West African Championship and African Cup in Rwanda.

After the remarkable feat in 2009, he guided the 2013 Satellite team to 3rd place in that year's tournament in Turkey.

Tetteh is currently the head coach of the Sierra Leone national team.
