The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has appointed Hon Evans Opoku Bobie as the deputy minister designate for Youth and Sports.

Evans Opoku Bobie, a former Bono Ahafo Regional Minister and the Member of Parliament for Asunafo North will assist Hon Yusif Mustapha if he is approved by Parliament.

The 46 year old legislator says that he is delighted to have been handed the opportunity by the President to serve once again.

He says his appointment is an honour for the people of Goaso and Ghana as a whole and has accepted the call of duty.

He made this known in an interview with Kumasi based Gye Nyame FM after his appointment was announced.

"I was excited upon hearing the news, Its an honour for me, the people of Goaso and Ghana as a whole.I have accepted the president's call to serve in continuing the good services of our predecessors.

I’m in to share in the vision of the president and the minister,Hon Mustapha Yusif." he said.
