Bright Ernest Akomea, also known as 'Double' has debunked claims by the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram that he was a member of the Invincible Forces before being recruited into the National Security.

Sam George while giving his testimony when he appeared before the Emile Short Commission of Inquiry mentioned the name of 'Double' as being part of NPP pro-vigilante group, Invincible Forces.

However, taking his turn at the Commission, 'Double' said he joined the National Security two years ago and prior to that he had never been a member of any vigilante group.

He further indicated that "I was a mobile phone dealer prior to my recruitment".

"I was surprised when I heard a Member of Parliament who was speaking on oath accuse me of being a member of the Invincible Force; I am not part of the Invincible Forces. I am stationed at the Kotoka International Airport . . . I have been working with the National Security for almost two years. 2017, I heard that National Security was recruiting and I applied. I went through a vetting process and my fingerprints were taken. I was trained at Asutuare for 3 weeks . . . I have never been a member of the Invincible Forces," he indicated.
