Red hot Ghanaian striker Joel Fameyeh cannot simply stop scoring as he once again hit the back of the net as his side Orenburg FC defeated Spartak Moscow II 2-1 on Sunday.

The home side started the game very well as they dominated possession right from the start and it paid off as Nicolai Titkov gave Orenburg the lead in 2 minutes.

Orenburg went into the break with a solitary 1-0 lead as but things quickly changed in the second half as the away side fought back aggressively.

Stephan Oganaseyan pulled parity for Spartak Moscow II in the 61st minute of the game but the Ghanaian striker scores what turned out to be the winner in the 68th minute after converting from the spot to hand his side a 2-1 victory.

Fameyeh has now scored nine goals in ten league appearances.

Orenburg are in the driving seat in the Russian second-tier with 34 points from 15 matches.

Fameyeh is expected in Ghana on Monday to start training with the Black Stars for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers double header against Zimbabwe next week.
