Ghana and FC Pyramids striker John Antwi has joined his teammates after returning from International duty with the Black Stars.

John Antwi was part of the Black Stars squad that played against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe in the last two 2021 AFCON qualifiers.

The lethal Ghana striker was an unused substitute as he watched all the two games from the bench as Ghana drew 1-1 with the Bafana Bafana in Johannesburg before beating minnows Sao Tome and Principe 3-1 in Accra to qualify from group C.

He is back in Egypt and trained with the rest of his teammates as they play Raja Casablanca on Sunday in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Antwi participated in the team’s last training session on Friday morning, before traveling to Morocco to face Raja in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Egyptian side are top of Group D with six points level on points with Raja Cassablanca but with better goal difference.

Tanzanian side Namungu and Zambian giants Nkana Red Devils complete the standings with zero point each.
