Ghana international Jordan Ayew has shared that he is still in the process of settling into life at Leicester City after his summer transfer from Crystal Palace.
The 33-year-old forward signed a two-year contract with the Foxes, reuniting him with fellow Ghanaian player Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
In a recent interview with Showmax, Ayew revealed that he has yet to find a permanent residence in Leicester, which has kept him preoccupied and limited his time with Issahaku.
"I haven’t, actually. I am still busy looking for my house; I haven’t gotten a house as yet, so I have been very busy sorting out a number of things," he explained.
As a result, Ayew mentioned he has not been able to spend much time with Issahaku outside of training.
"I haven’t settled properly as yet, and so I haven’t had time to spend with Abdul off the field. He has an apartment in Leicester, I let him do his thing," he added.
Ayew is hopeful that once he finds a place to live, he will be able to enjoy more downtime with his teammate.
So far, he has appeared in eight matches for Leicester City, while Issahaku has made nine appearances for the club.
