Joseph Esso's late strike secures draw for Dreams FC against Heart of Lions

Joseph Esso scored a crucial late goal to earn Dreams FC a 2-2 draw against Heart of Lions, rounding off match week 3 of the Premier League on Monday, September 23, 2024.

Heart of Lions opened the scoring in the 34th minute through Yaovi Chris Guede, but Dreams FC responded early in the second half when Michelle Sarpong equalized in the 51st minute at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town.

Christian Agyenim Boateng restored the visitors' lead with a fine finish in the 60th minute.

However, Dreams FC's persistence paid off when Joseph Esso found the back of the net three minutes before full-time to secure a point for the home side.

Dreams FC remain unbeaten but are still seeking their first win of the season after three consecutive draws. Heart of Lions, meanwhile, have collected five points from their first three matches.
