The Black Stars of Ghana have been paired against Nigeria in the final round play off of the 2022 FIFA Works Cup which will come off in Qatar.

A two legged tie on home and away basis will have to be played between the two fierce West African rivals to determine the team who will qualify for the mundial.

Ghana was eliminated from the on going African Cup of Nations in the group stages after a 3-2 defeat to lowly ranked Comoros Island.

The four time AFCON winners have since sacked their Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac after the dismal performance.

Nigeria on the other hand are in the round of 16 of the African Cup of Nations and will play against Tunisia on Sunday 24th January, 2022.

There will be an all Liverpool clash as Mohammed Salah will face Sadio Mane as Egypt jostle against Senegal for a place in finals of the tournament.

Cameroon will face Algeria who have been eliminated from the AFCON competition.

DR Congo who last played at the World Cup in 1974 will pit their might against Morocco.

While Mali who beat Tunisia in the AFCON group stage will square off in the play offs.
