Kassim Nuhu features as Hoffenheim suffer defeat to Man City in UCL
13th December 2018
Ghanaian defender Nuhu Kassim played full throttle for TSG Hoffenheim in their 2-1 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Kassim made a return to the side at the Etihad Stadium after missing the previous fixture due to suspension.
The Premier League Champions created most of the several clear-cut chances in an entertaining encounter, but only came to life after Hoffenheim took the lead through Andrej Kramaric's 16th-minute penalty.
Leroy Sane scored twice as the Cityzens came from behind to top the group. While the Germans remained bottom of the log to miss out on a place in UEFA Europa League.
City are the only one of the four qualified English teams to win their group, and as a result can only draw one of four teams in the last 16 - Atletico Madrid, Schalke, Roma or Ajax.
